Survivor status 1967 GT 350’s are extremely rare and highly desirable. This early production example has a number of unique features, starting with the upper scoop marker lights, in-board highlights, steel framed hood and deck lid and smooth deluxe seats to name a few.The car retains all original sheet metal with the only visible rust being a small area in the right front fender behind the tire. I have chosen not to repair the spot in an effort to protect the “survivor” status. The engine compartment wears it original paint with only the front of the radiator support being resprayed when the radiator and water pump were serviced. The water pump was replaced with the correct HP K-code C6-OE version and at the time of the change the front of the engine was sprayed correct Ford Corporate blue. The interior is a time capsule and is perfect in every way. The undercarriage was under coated when new and remains protected that way today. Natural metal suspension parts have surface rust from living in Wisconsin most of its life. Once in So Cal the under carriage was steam cleaned and coated with Boeshield T-9 Rust Protection. Since in So Cal I have more hours than I can count cleaning, waxing and replacement of incorrect service parts. The car proudly wears 49 years of patina in all the right places. This car needs nothing and I only wish I had the time to haul it around the country to the various shows so it could be appreciated! This Shelby is one of the most original un-molested examples of a 1967 GT350 in existence.
