Description for Shelby Cobra Replica 1966

ello, I'm selling my 1994 Component Craft Cobra Replica.
The car was made in Hurst, TX (DFW) in 1994 by a company no longer doing business. As far as I can tell, it was a small operation, they made good cars but weren't great businessmen. The molds were sold to Hurricane and are apparently still being used. It is a fairly straightforward frame and suspension setup. All wear items (shocks, control arm ends, brake parts) are easy to find from speedway, summit, and stores like that. This is a good car to drive as much as you want, but looks good enough to enter into shows.
The drivetrain is a rebuilt roller cam 302, Ford B cam, Ford aluminum heads, reproduction Cobra aluminum intake, 4bbl Holley carb, electronic ignition, and Cobra air cleaner. It dyno'd 290 at the wheels, with the Cobra air cleaner installed and conservative street tuning. It absolutely runs perfect, no hesitation, cold start issues etc. The side pipes are ceramic black coated, they wont burn your skin, although they are hot to the touch. The intake has a small oil leak from the seal at the back. It's a common problem with aftermarket intakes, but its small enough that I can dab a rag on it when I check the oil. I.e. no puddling etc. The temp gauge is currently giving me issues, it comes and goes. These are fairly plain VDO gauges and relatively inexpensive and easy to find. I do have another light that indicates when the fans are on, they usually aren't unless it's in traffic. The car stays cool in traffic on 105 degree days, that's about as hot as I can stand though.
It's mated to a 5 speed trans that shifts great, hydraulic pushrod clutch, and a 9" Ford differential with 4.11 gears and a Currie limited slip unit.
Suspension is single adjustable coilovers on all four corners. Brakes are GM metric calipers with Hawk pads. Tilton hydraulics with a balance bar adjustment. It stops very well. Tires are BF Goodrich with Goodyear letter appliques, they are glued on like a tire patch, and have no risk of coming off.
The body is obviously fiberglass with no signs of any repaint. Paint quality is very high, but it has two small spider cracks above the left rear wheel, and some scratches under the front fascia (driveway rash). Currently the drivers door striker is broken and you have to manually latch the door all the way shut. (This is recent and may be fixed shortly). The stripes are a metallic dark blue, its difficult to photograph, at my skill level anyway.
The chrome is in good shape, small imperfections but no major pitting etc. The aluminum polishes up nicely but takes upkeep. The seats are real leather, I currently have seat heaters and a USB charger for longer trips, but it is easily removed with no evidence. Overall the interior is in great shape, carpet is pitch black and no cracks on the seat. Some visual wear to drivers seat is starting to appear. The seats are not adjustable. Im 5'10" size 10 shoe, if you are much bigger than that, it will be a tight fit. I can easily drive with sneakers with no problems, steeltoe work boots are pushing it for me. With a small modification to the wheel well, under the carpet, you could move the seat back around 3 inches. The car has a very nice, tight tonneau cover that folds up behind the passenger seat, or stows in the trunk, to offer some rain protection.
If you have any other questions, please dont hesitate to ask!
I hate to have to add this:
