Collectors Dream: 1968 SHELBY GT 500

Description for Shelby 63B SHELBY FASTBACK 1968

A little history:Bought this car from the 4th owner Wallie in Hayes, Nebraska. The third owner gave me the history.1st owner was a dealer ship; they had the car for many years then sold it to a friend who never drove the car. He put it in and out of a trailer he sold it to Blank. He drove the car. I bought it from Wally. We have had the car for 11 years. We have rebuilt the motor done by total engine. We have rebuilt the transmission TSI. When engine was rebuilt the did not want to use the original intake as it was wailed so I put on a after market. We also have roller rockers on for a little extra hp have all original parts. Since this has been done I do not even have 2000 miles on the car. We do not have time to drive or take the car to shows this car is meant to be driven.
This car is very original. I purchased just recently. It has original intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, new antenna, new power steering pump.
THE MAGNUM 500 WHEELS DO NOT GO WITH THE CAR YOU WILL GET THE ORIGINAL RIMS THAT CAME WITH THE CAR WHEN I BOUGHT IT. THERE ARE NO DATES ON THESE RIMS I BELIEVE THEM TO BE ORIGINAL SHELBY RIMSTHE SEAT BELTS SHOW DATE CLEARLY.What the car needs:-Paint looks good but is only a 6.5 some blisters on the hood some scratches on the car-Front crome trim I have needed new clips to hold in place-Needs new bushings in front end-I have been told to not replace a true collector may want to do these things themselves or leave because they are all original-Passenger seat has a tear on the seatThis is a great car as photos show please bid with confidence.
