Like all Hertz Shelby’s it has an automatic transmission, tilt away steering wheel and air conditioning. This is one of 224 Shelby’s that were manufactured for Hertz in 1968. This beautiful Shelby has just come out of the body shop with a fresh bare metal paint job at a cost of $17,707. The car also underwent an 18 month mechanical and chassis restoration and detailing by a master mechanic who verified original matching numbers with photos on engine and transmission.
