Description

The Arntz Cobra's are a very well built replica for road racing or street use. This is not your typical kit car built in somebody'sgarage. Having a 2000 lb curb weight and using a small block Chevy, Arntz was able to move the engine back 10" putting 56% of the weight wheels. This allows for great steering/Handling and even better traction at the rear wheels. The small block Chevy is 400 Cubic Inch, 500HP, with front mount distributor, custom intake, 4 side draft Weber carburetors, custom valve covers and adaptersto make it look like a 427 Ford. Behind the small block Chevy is a DNE street fighter 5 speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter. Rear suspension is custom Jaguar independent rear, with disc brakes. Front suspension is full custom Gillstrand with unequal length A-arms, Coil springs, and anti-roll bar. Wheels are AC cobra replicas with BF Goodrich radial tires. All lights, switches, brakes, wipers, work flawless. Car has 2,826 miles and runs and drives like new. Paint and body is in good shape but shows its age, minor scratches and chips. Windscreen is showing its age, and one side wing is cracked. (Plastic is old and brittle)
