For sale is a 1965 Factory Five Racing Shelby Cobra with a 5.0 liter V8 Pro-Charger producing 425hp! This is a wicked car! This Cobra was ordered and built in 2001 in West Brookfield MA at Quality Roadsters. We have the original build sheet/bill of sale and receipts from the build. The burgundy paint on this car is show quality! The body is in great shape. The chrome bumpers look new and the driver’s side Chrome roll bar really sets the car off. The interior of this roadster is in excellent shape. The black Simpson racing harnesses have been added for extra protection. The Smith gauges look great in this car and the odometer is showing 7232 miles since the build. These Smith English gauges are unique to AC Cobras and give this Cobra the proper gauge cluster configuration that you’ll find in these cars originally. Under the hood is a 5.0 V8 fuel injected Pro-Charged engine that runs great and sounds awesome with the ceramic-coated headers and side pipes. The Tremec 3550 Heavy-duty 5-Speed transmission handles all the power and shifts perfectly. The suspension on this car has been upgraded with rear coil overs front lower tubular control arms and 4 rear control arms for a solid rear axle assembly that is able to handle the power! The Hildebrand replica aluminum wheels are direct bolt ons and really give this car a great look. If you look at the pictures closely the inner fenders are fabricated in Aluminum and the inside of the trunk has an all aluminum substructure. Above all else this car is a blast to drive it layes down the power with ease and handles the back roads perfectly!
