This rare, nmolested & classic American Icon has spent it's entire life in California and Nevada and is in immaculate condition. The car was originally owned by a doctor in Sacramento and we have the original build sheet from March of 1977 which lists all options including AC, ower windows, oor locks & antenna, nd codes for the exterior paint, nterior trim and keys. The car has the original, nd working Avanti II radio/casette player and a Nardi Torino woodsteering wheel. All gauges & AC work and there are no dings or dents in the body. No rust. Undercarraige is very clean. Always garaged. Less than 48,000 miles on the odometer.
This is truly a comfortable GT cruiser for four adults.
We found the car in Nevada where it had been owned and maintained for the past 20+ years by a retired Naval engineer who, ue to illness, eeded to sell his baby. This is one of only 146 Avanti II's made in 1977.
After driving it back to the Bay Area from Reno (Great ride, an smooth and cool), e've gone through the entire car and freshened up and changed the fluids, one several nutand bolt checks, nstalled new Flowmaster mufflers/pipes and driven it regularly.. One memorable trip on a Sunday morning to Alice's Restaurant on Skyline Drive proved what a major attraction getting item this car is as enthusiasts young and old came by to ask questions and to complement our Avanti.
Ready for the collector or the person who wants to drive to the country club in the only car of its type in town.
For California buyers we have a current smog certificate (passed on 9/15/15) and for a Nevada buyer the personal Avanti 2 plates will stay with this currently registered vehicle.
