1985 Avanti, 61000+ miles. Bought from original owner who had worked at Avanti in 80’s. Car was in storage for a number of years. Sales receipt and other papers. An aftermarket turbocharger was installed on the 305 Chevrolet motor. There is low compression in cylinders 1 & 3. Burns some oil. Nonetheless car runs good. The Avanti was repainted in 90’s a dark emerald green. Paint has bubbled in several spots and there are several spots with crazing. Hog troughs have several rust holes. Transmission is perfect. New front disc brake pads. Tires are very good. Recaro seats. Interior has some wear on driver’s seat otherwise in very good condition. Sunroof works properly and does not leak. Power windows all work. All gauges work. New radio was installed with input for iPhone. Power side mirrors do not work. Air conditioner was upgraded to new R134. May have slow leak? Exhaust system excellent. The Avanti is in good overall condition. Health issues force sale.
