Both front Axleswerechanged about 1,000 miles ago.As you can see I have ownedthis Great little Truck for over 28 Years. See Title. It has been a Fun driver for a long time but it is time to let it go. There has been a lotof upkeepto keep this thing in great shape, other then a bit of rust in the wheel wells, as you can see, all Pic's. Last year New BrakesandRotors, Rear Gas Shocks, Rear Drive Line, A/C still in, I have not up date it to the new Freon R-134a Yet, it is empty. It still worked last time many years ago. I live near the start of the north pole, that is why never did. It is a Eye Geter everybodycan't believeit is 38 Years Old a Classic. The Paint has been on this car for the 28 years I have had it, It was painted by a Reputable shop here in town with Glasurit Paint.
I have had many stop an ask to sell thisto them. But it is my Little WheelBarrowto Haul 2 Four Stroke Motorcycle, Dump Runs, Get aroundTown Etc.
I have a white Subaru shell topper that is custom made for this truck; it also has 5 Of the Same Tires and Aluminum Subaru wheels with super good tread on them. All are 185/70/13 including The Spare under the hood.
I’ve had fun with my 82 Brat for almost 30 years but it’s time to sell, it was my daily driver for many years but, now retired, I just don’t use it much. It is a Idaho car originally so that’s why the body is in ruff, but still looks Great, They tended to rust out from the salt so badly, Here We do not use Salt on the roads. Just COLD and Lot’s of SNOW.
The trans is a 4 speed with FWD used when in 2wd and it then has a second shift lever for low or Natural for Pulling behind A RV, and high range 4wd, it runs great but does need to have the exhaust leakon the front Passengerside Manifold Gasket.
