Description for Suzuki Cappuccino 1980
Thanks for checking out my cool 1992 not 1980 (eBay would not accept vin which is why the 1980 year is listed) Suzuki CappuccinoIf you ever played Gran Turismo or any other racing game over the years you may remember this gem.
This car is a 660cc 3 cylinder "mini" supercar that gets 45 mile per gallon!
I imported it from Japan and just finally received the NC title so now it is for sale.
It's a manual transmission, targa top, t-top, convertible all in one. Hid headlights, EL gauges, large obnoxious aluminum spoiler (which is actually pretty cool), Racing seat and best of all right hand drive.
The Cappuccino has a boost gauge in the cockpit, and a manual trust boost controller under the hood.
Also mounted under the dash is a HKS turbo timer
15" PIAA wheels with Yokohama tires with 75 % tread, non DOT tires.
A full stainless exhaust is also installed
Nardi Steering wheel
Also included is a Japanese Carrozzeria DEH-970 which I will deduct $200 if you would not want the head unit.
Roof top panel bags are also included
**mechanical condition**
Car ran and drove fine for about 700 kilometers, I have since brought it out of storage and it has developed a loud tap in the top of the motor. The engine still runs smooth. It does not knock I drove it in my driveway with no hesitation or sputter. I think a valve or rocker could be having issues. I changed the oil and filter, flushed the coolant and the noise got quieter but did not go away. I recommend trailering the car home unless you live within 5 miles of me.
**cosmetic condition**
The paint is great on this car, it's a cool metallic pearl color. The front lower bumper has some paint chips from stones and such. The rest of the car looks great. The one door panel (see photo) has some peeling vinyl on the interior. The one mirror (see photo) is missing the hardware cover. The rear window trim has a small crack (see photo). There is no rust to speak of. The underside of the car looks great, the normal rust areas are free and clear of rust. Front hood has a bend (see photo)
I priced this car to sell, many of these have been posted on eBay lately and very few have been as clean as this one at this price point. I have the NC title in hand, I did all the legwork to make this an easy transaction for the prospective new buyer.
I can assist and work with your shipper if needed.
