1987 Suzuki Samurai JA Sport Utility Vehicle - 2-Door 1.3L Carburetor Engine I have owned this vehicle for over 20 years. I purchased it and was provided a Salvage Title from the previous owner in 2002, but I never intended to drive it on roads or make it street legal, so I put the title somewhere in my filings and have since lost the filing cabinet. I never titled the vehicle to myself and my home and have now lost the title. NO TITLE will be provided with the vehicle, but I am indeed the owner and it has been 20 years since I purchased it from a gentleman who is probably unreachable today. If you need details of the gentleman's name and the location where I purchased it, I can provide that upon your auction win. I do not have his contact information. Now, as for what you will receive with your Auction win: 1) 1987 Suzuki Samurai JA - The vehicle DOES NOT RUN. There is no exhaust, but no changes have been made internally to the motor, carburetor, or air intake. The exhaust headers are still attached to the engine block. There is no fuel in the gas tank and there is no oil in the oil sump. - The seats have been removed, along with the roll bar and windows. This was intended to be a rock-crawling tube buggy for RECREATIONAL USE ONLY. Five point racing harness seats and such were the intended replacements. - An Old Man Emu 2" lift suspension springs, Old Man Emu heavy duty shock absorbers, and Spidertrax extended shackles have been installed. THEY ARE NOT TORQUED to spec. They were simply bolted up to the frame and axles to create rolling stock for trailering purposes only. - Interco Super Swamper TSL SX tires (Size 29x10.5-15LT) have been mounted onto steel wheels. There are five tires and five wheels included in this auction sale. They are unused after 20 years, so call them New Old Stock if you will. - Spidertrax Disc Brake conversion kit is included in the sale. It is not photographed but it is a new and unused disc brake conversion kit purchased in 2002. - Spidertrax Disc Brake E-brake kit is included in the sale. It is not photographed but it is a new and unused disc brake conversion kit purchased in 2002. - Three or four (I can't remember) large yellow 2.5" wide nylon recovery straps are included in the sale. These straps and the Spidertrax kits above are all located in a green plastic bin for you to take with the vehicle and the other accessories. - Five pairs of differing sized jack stands are included in the sale. See the photos for details of the load capacity for each set. They range from 2 ton to 6 ton jack stands. - A Harbor-Freight-style engine hoist and engine stand are included in this auction sale. - A Master combination padlock is included in this auction sale. All items, including the vehicle, are stored in an outdoor storage bay that is locked by the above-mentioned combination padlock. After your auction victory, I will provide you the key code for entry into the storage facility that has all of the items above in storage. You must then call my phone number, which will be provided, and once I am aware that you are in the correct location, you will receive the number of the storage unit and the lock combination. YOU MUST TAKE ALL ITEMS FROM THE STORAGE UNIT UPON DEPARTURE. YOU MUST BRING A TRAILER AND/OR TRUCK TO MOVE EVERYTHING AT THE TIME OF PICKUP. NOTHING MUST BE LEFT BEHIND. My intention is to clear out my storage unit, and then terminate my storage unit lease with the storage facility as you ride off into the sunset with my formerly owned vehicle and accessories. I can provide a PDF copy of my storage lease to you if you need assurance that I am the legitimate lessee of this storage unit. PLEASE, ask any questions you need to ask to achieve full clarity and confidence in this auction and transaction. I understand that there will probably be some skepticism given the circumstances of the pickup and due to my nonchalance with the title paperwork when I was 21 years old. But I'm a better man now and far more responsible than I used to be. I can assure you that this is a legitimate sale. I have moved out of the area where this vehicle and storage facility are located, but I can reluctantly return to meet you at the storage facility where this is located if a situation were to arise that required my presence.
