Description for Toyota Other 1987
Chance in a lifetime! My legal fees force me to sell my long time project truck. Under all the faded paint and dust you will find an Amazing project truck thatcan be completed with only a couple $K MORE. Here is what you will get. A two owner truck, ather to son off road gem. In 2007, he truck neededa major mechanical overhaul after driving over 240k original miles. The 22R 4banger was given a Weber carb, luminum Head, ored and stroked, high roller off road cam and new rocker arm and springs, aluminum radiator, ew engine rebuilt kit with aluminum pistons, nd LCEngineering headers. The truck performed like a beast for just over 40K miles when its second transmission went out in 2008. A new clutch and high pressure plate were purchsed and a transmission rebuilt kit was installed. I had a mishap on the transmission install where when bolted to the truck the truck shifter would not move. a binding shaft. I was in the process of fixing when I was deployed overseas. It has been parked, ollecting dust since 2009. In 2011 I started her up and she ran with minor errors, dirty fuel and carb adjust needed). A growing family and a second military tour overseas again left the truck collecting dust and cobwebs. I placed the truck at my parents ranch as I continued life and moved away 400 miles for work. The truck has not been touched since. I hate to sell this offroad beast but I must in order to continue a long custody battle in order to maintain custody. I have over $2000 invested in just the engine alone. The winning bidder will get a few of extras as the truck is hauled away. I will throw in a never opened power window and door lock kit (planned to install) polyurethane bushings for sway bar, front bumper valence, n extra odometer bezelI had purchased for the truck and a front bumper off road push bar, nd a rear cab roll bar. I will also thow in any extra parts that I had purchased for the truck like extra bolt kits, askets, ransmission bearings, Haynes repair maual and finally a second transmission, es a second manual toyota 2WD transmission that I had purchased at a flea market hoping to use it. In the pics you will notice on the interior of the truck there is carpet padding/cork on the door panels and ceiling. I had done this during the original restore attempt to reduce noise and help with heating and cooling while living in the desert heat of New Mexico.Think about it a little transmission work, ome interior work and a good wash inside and out and this vehicle is ready to hit the mud, he sand and the trails once again. Happy bidding and good luck. Oh did I mention....NO RESERVE!!!
