1978 FJ 40 for sale. It is sad to part with this truck, ut she has just been sitting in my driveway without getting regular use.
The Good:Tires have less than 50 miles on themNew fuel tank in 2015Truck spent life in CA until 2012 so minimal body rust (see photos)Converted to V8Complete overhaul of drum brakes in 2012Complete overhaul of front axle bearings in 2012
The Bad:
E-Brake needs to be repaired.No Power Steering upgradeThe electrical for the headlights and brake lights could use upgrade (they work, ust not all the time).Shocks could use an upgradeAmbulance door on left side sticks.Small nicks and bumps in the paint (two on windshield, few on side body panels, cratch in ambulance door on back)has never overheated but sometimes runs a little hot in the summer time.
