Description for Toyota Land Cruiser 1988

Ebay deleted this ad because of a non-searchable title and told me to relist it (for those of you wondering why it disappeared and then reappeared!)
Extra clean southwest Toyota FJ62 Land Cruiser that has spent it's entire life in the Tucson are. No rust on this truck and that makes it very easy to work on and enjoy for years to come.
It is technically a ‘restored salvage vehicle' . Damage was to the passenger side fender, ood, nd radiator core support. The frame was perfect and not even scratched. Strange how it could have easily been repaired but the insurance company said it was not worth it.
Well, his created a perfect situation because I was always a fan of the FJ60 front end/clip with the round headlights. I purchased a rust free 1985 FJ60 and removed the front clip from it and transferred it over to the FJ62 to create the best of both worlds... The sweet interior dash and automatic of the FJ62 along with the sexy front end of the FJ60. Perfection! As of now, he title does read ‘restored salvage'. Also, t was in a very minor fender bender in 2006 where the drivers side fender was replaced. Some photos show the older worn out tires but the pics with the FJ60 front clip show the new tires.
In the replacement, did:
Replace both fenders, ood, adiator core support, rill, umper, nd wheel wells from the FJ60 to the FJ62
Paint all the interior parts being swapped so that they were protected and visibly nice
Hood underside was stripped, epainted, nd redone with anti-flutter caulk to adhere the supports to the skin, ew clips installed with the hood liner
All grill parts that were fastened to the radiator core support have new fasteners and new fastener receivers/plastic clips
AC was converted over to 134a
New windshield washer bottle OEM Toyota
FJ62 front wiring harness was converted over to the FJ60 wiring harness
New front spring bushings installed (remaining bushings included but not installed)
Nice chrome wheels that are 15x7 with a 4" backspacing along with AT tires with 95%+ tread
New front disk pads OEM Toyota
Brand new Japanese 555 tie rod ends and drag link ends
New air intake plenum sections
New stainless steel battery tray
Transmission was rebuilt 4 years ago for $2500 and I do have the receipt
The BAD:
Paint is faded in areas from the AZ sun and the front clip needs to be painted
Dash has cracks (AZ all its life!) but has a nice dash cover on it
Radio work but is missing the main knob cover. Power antennae is still on the truck in the engine bay but I installed an aftermarket one. You can go either way with this.
Super small hole in the side of the muffler, akes a putt putt sound.
Rear bumper has a small ding in it
Passenger side seat has a small tear in the vinyl right where you enter the vehicle
Oil pan does leak and the gasket needs to be replaced
Good Stuff:
Rust free, o fillers or additives!
236,000 miles
Included the OEM bottle jack and tool kit
New poly bushings for the leaf springs ready to install
Set of 4 used OEM landcruiser mud flaps
Includes the long lower rocker chrome trim pieces
Rear brake shoes are OEM Toyota and about 95%
Front brake pads are OEM Toyota and 100%
Tires are 95% + and are Pathfinder AT's in 31x10.50x15
Has the original power antennae AND and aftermarket rubber antennae
Trailer hitch
NICE carpet throughout, riginal? Not sure.
Door panels are very nice
All the windows and locks work 100%
Confer rack on top with 2 bike rack mounts on it (If you do not want it, educt $300)
All 4x4 stuff works great
Head liner and seats all in great shape, assenger front has a small tear where you enter
Deduct $300 from the final price if you do not want the confer roof rack. I will have the front clip painted in a few weeks if it does not sell the way it is but the price will go up about $1500. The way it is now gives you the flexibility to either do the painting yourself, ave the front only painted, r have the entire vehicle painted so that it is done the way YOU want it done.
Have it hauled or drive it home anywhere! I am located in Tucson
Did I mention that it had NO rust ever?
