Description for Toyota Land Cruiser 1971
Here is a 1971 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. Completely Usable in every regard. This is not a fully restored unit that you need to be scared to drive. It is a well preserved and mildly reconditioned rig. This makes for a perfect driver condition vehicle. Perfect for use on the ranch or for mild trail use. Where a small scratch doesn't ruin a day.It has all of the items necessary to be called a proper Sport Utility Vehicle.Solid AxlesTwo Speed transfer case (Low Range)Reliable Heavy Duty Suspension. Sprung for extra gear and passengers (no sheet metal control arms here!)This is what an SUV is supposed to be. Not the new redefined SUV's with No off road abilities or durability. No Touch screen. No CANBUS, o Footwell modules. Best of all NO Check Engine LightEverything works as designed. Lockouts and transfer case engage near effortlessly. Winch has been tested and works to pull cars around the shop. Doors and tailgate open and close well (tight hinges and latches)Few vehicles are known round the world to be the vehicle to have when the going gets tough.Comfort is not this vehicles strong suit. Those seeking heated and cooled seats and steering wheels need not apply. I am sure you can get an air conditioning system to fit. This FJ does not have it.The paint is sub-par my most standards and would be considered a 20-footer. The interior is remarkably well preserved. The engine compartment is indicative of enthusiast ownership rather than just the average user. The under carriage is nice by Omaha standards. Not a Desert dry one though.
