The 1987 was the first full year of production for the MKIII Supra and was the first Supra to break away from the Celica with a completely different body style. The MKIII is widely thought to be the best looking Supra. The in-line 6 cylinder turbocharged engine produces approximately 230 brake horsepower at the wheels and can be easily modified to produce much. much more. Some have well over 800hp. The engine is mated to a Toyota R-154 5 speed transmission and limited-slip differential. While this particular car is in excellent condition inside and out. it is also a daily driver. The car runs cool even on the hottest days here in Georgia. and the A/C does a great job of keeping things cool inside. All mechanical and electrical components on the car are fully functional. This car can be driven across the country tomorrow without concern. although I would stay clear of snow covered or icy roads. The stereo has been upgraded and has IPOD connectivity. A Pioneer head unit with JL Audio amplifier and four JL Audio speakers has replaced the stock unit. The stock head unit will be included so you can bring the car back to complete OEM stock if desired. The car sits on upgraded 17 inch chrome wheels. Tires are 50%. The original rims are included and have tires that are 95%. Only other modifications to the car include a 4 inch stainless exhaust and muffler. K&N air filter. and an aftermarket blow-off valve. The original tool kit. nbsp;manual and spare wheel and tire are all there and in excellent condition. The windows have also been tinted. This vehicle is one of the very best remaining examples in the country and has the most desired configuration of equipment of the MKIII Supra. The only option not on the car is the trip computer. A recent 1990 Supra with only 57 miles was recently highlighted on the Yahoo homepage with a sale price of over $65. 00.
