1990 Toyota Celica GTS - Needs work

This car was smog tested and passed on 12/26/14 in compliance with California vehicle sale regulations. The car is currently registered and title is current (but salvaged). As described the car needs work. I am selling the car as-is and we the sellers are not responsible for any problems after purchase. If you want to test drive the car you have to email me with a phone number to contact you. I will need to be able to see your drivers license and proof of insurance. This is a great project car for someone who appreciates one of the best Toyota Celica GTS models. This is my son's car that he has owned for about 14 years. It has been a great sports car for him to drive and work on. He is older now and lives in a big city where he cannot work on it and would rather not. He bought a newer car and left me this car to sell. This car has an intermittent problem where it has not started a couple of times but later started fine without doing anything. There is a suspension rattle that I have not figured out. There is also a vibration sound on the engine that I have not pin pointed yet. The mileage is not correct because the speedometer cable was broken for a few years and later repairedThe car was once hit on the left front fender while parked and the insurance company paid him $700 but he had to salvage the title. We changed the fender and the inner wheel well with a used one and then painted the fender. The interior is in very good condition and the body is in good condition too. Tires are still good condition. Air conditioning and heater work well. Pioneer FM radio/ CD player works good. It has removable face plate. Power antenna also works well.
