1971 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser, produced 12/1970. original inline 6 cylinder, 3 speed on the column. solid frame, Solid bod, with exception of a few spots and a little rus, please look at all photos and any questions please email or schedule a private showing. Front mounted Superwinch. I'm the 3rd owner and this Cruiser The family of the original owner, had stated it was used exclusively on their farm in Canton NC. It was purchased new to be used on the farm, in Canton NC. I have Clear Title in hand. mileage is unknown as the odometer still reads 3/10ths of a mile. I assume it was unhooked and currently still does not work.As the 3rd owner I believe I am the first to tag and license this vehicle...I have only owned the FJ for about a year ... and reluctantly am sellin, I have used some of the verbage from original listing from 2nd owner as I write this listing....The Cruiser has had a recent tune up, newer battery, newer fuel pump, fuel sending unit, tank cleaned out, front wheel bearingsrepacked, rebuilt wheel cylinders, brake shoes, professionally adjuste, brake lines, master cylinder, all fluids changed, newer tires and hub caps, with spare tire, new muffler and tail pipe professionally installed. 4 wheel drive works awesome.also I have acquired jump seats ( from a mid to late 60's Fj40) they are currently mounted with just a few bolts to show placement in the 1971 . they will need to be recovered and have a little rust but overall even with a few tears they look really goo, in my opinion.The bad... paint is not that great,paint bubbling at bottom of passenger door, and has been a little repair on driver side floorboard and rear area where tailgate doors are.(the usual places for these cruisers) it leaks a little fluid out of transmission where driveshaft connects.emergency brake does not work.and again speedometer and odometer do not wor, horn does not work.Cruiser runs and drives good and is also for sale locally. it may be removed prior to end date.Just need a little TLC to be perfect .buyer responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs. any questions please email.note this is a 45 year old vehicl, she run, shifts gears, drives and stops. she is still going to need some work as stated above, but all in all the years have treated her well....again any questions please email or schedule a private showing to view prior to bidding.Terms and conditionsdeposit of $500 must be paid within 24 hours of auction close.via PayPal cash or certified check.Payment : item will not be available for pickup or shipping until full payment is received and cleared by our local bank.PayPal in NOT an acceptable form of payment and we do NOT accept it for full payment, it is for deposit only.if full payment is not received within 5 days from end of auction you agree to forfeit deposit. please have your financing or cash in place prior to bidding. agian it is also for sale locally and could be removed from listing prior to end date of auction.good luck bidding !!!!
