Description for Toyota Land Cruiser 1979

This is a one of a kind removable snap top FJ55 with a low mileage 2F engine. The roof was previously removed and re-fabricated from the top of the glass line up. Two structural cross arch brace members were incorporated. Full removable snap soft- though the edging has gotten a bit brittle over the years and needs to be replaced.

· 1979 - Last year of 55 body style

· Late model '79 California Pig with all of the California emissions intact. Recently passed smog.

· Spector crate 2F engine with approximately 23K miles

· Starts right up consistently

· Factory AC - not currently working, but intact

· Factory PS - works great

· Factory Front Disc Brakes

· Factory 4 speed

· Solid body overall (with some areas of rust)

· Black powder coated American Racing alloys with 31" BFG ATs.

· Rancho Shocks all around

· Gas tank removed by the previous owner, Boiled, Rhino coated and reinstalled

· Radiator removed, re-cored, re-coated and reinstalled

· New Bestop TRAILMAX ll Pro Reclining bucket seats

· Interior is respectable. The entire floor is covered with rubber matting where carpet might be with heavy duty floor mats over.

· Floors are solid.

· Specter dash cover

· 4 speaker tape deck/radio works...except for the tape deck.

· Hella fog lamps

· Documented paperwork/ receipts for 17 years+

Areas of challenge:

· Some bubbles in body work surfacing

· The full removable snap is brittle and should be replaced.

· Window tinting has some bubbles

· Rear window motor not functioning

· Door locks can be finicky.
