1982 Toyota 4x4 SR5 Long bed Pickup with 66k original miles!
Up for auction is this very rare low mileage truck that I purchased from the original owner. Truck was originally purchased and used in California but has resided here in dry Arizona the last 10years. The truck has always been garaged leaving the body almost completely rust free with only 2 spots in the bed where there was a tool box at one time, other then that just some minor superficial surface rust here and there.The factory paint still shines and all the factory decals are intact showing only minor feathering around the edges. It does have a few small normal dings here and ther, please see pictures,but overall it is in excellent condition considering its 33 years old!! All the Glass and weatherstrips are in excellent condition. The doors,locks and manual window mechanisms operate smoothly. The rear sliding window slides smooth however the latch is missing. All of the electrical systems are in good order including brake, back up, blinker lamps as well as license plate lamp. Dome lamp even works! The 22R 4 cylinder engine has been well maintained and always starts, idles and runs out smooth. Engine does not leak, smoke, rattle or knock and has plenty of power. The previous owner did remove the catalytic converter but it will come with the truck and it also does not have air conditioning or Power steering. Tires are 31X10.50 BFG all terrains and are good condition. The truck is equip with a 5 speed manual transmission and transfer case, both shift smooth as well as the locking hubs.The brakes,clutch,shocks and steering are in good condition, minimal play in steering and has a Rancho dual steering dampener installed which helps tracking smooth off road and down the road at highway speeds.The Interior is also original and complete. No cracks in the dash or missing knobs. All dash indicators function correctly as with the AM/FM factory radio and gauges in the center. The Carpet is faded but has no major staining or tears, driver seat has 2 small blemishes on the bottom seat cushion and the passenger seat has on small rip on the side of the lower cushion. Please see pictures and remember this is all the original materials!! Also has dealer installed roll cage and rear bumper that original owner said he had done at time of delivery. The rear bumper is missing driver side end cap and has been modified for a receiver hitch and tow plug. Not much else I can say, a truck like this doesn't come around very often, most that you find in this condition have been bondo'd up rebuilt and repainted. Here, what you see is what you get, nothing hiding or years of multiple owners and hard off road miles.
