Description for Toyota Land Cruiser 1976
Up for grabs is my 1976 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser. This rig was completely disassembled to the bare frame and everything was blasted, cleaned, replaced, or rebuilt. Front and rear axles were torn down, cleaned up and resealed. Bearing were replaced where needed. New brakes all around. Transmission and transfer case were completely disassembled, resealed and bearing replaced where needed. Original 2F was seized so a 360 SBC out of an 87 K5 blazer was completely rebuilt and an RV cam installed. Edelbrock performer intake and carb sit on top with cast iron ram horn manifolds. Complete custom crossover exhaust was done and tucked up out of the way. Wrapped with header wrap to keep the heat down. All new stainless steel brakelines and fuel lines. Both drive shafts were lengthened and balanced. The tub was stripped to bare metal and all rotted metal removed and replaced with new. Complete new rear sil was installed. Tub was completely body worked and painted original paint code Cygnus white. Tub was raptor lined in the interior and underneath. Quiets it down quite a bit. Seats were recovered and the rear jump seats also received new foam. All new seat belts and headliner were installed as well. Aluminum radiator and electric fans are installed. No overheating issues with this set up. All new door seals, hardtop seals, and windshield seals were installed as well as new windshield. New headliner was installed as well. Tires are brand-new 33 12.50 BFG KM2's. Wiring harness was laid out and completely unwrapped. All unused circuits were removed and circuits that needed to be moved for the V8 conversion were moved. Stainless steel hardware was used throughout.I know there are things I am missing. This is a beautiful rig and nothing was left untouched. Drives straight and true. All kinds of power. Truly is a blast to drive you will not be disappointed. Any question please ask. Sale will be as is with no warranty. Shipping will be on the purchaser. $1000 will be required within 24 hours of auction end unless something else was set up with me. Good luck and help me sell my project! On Dec-29-16 at 18:18:32 PST, seller added the following information:
Fixing a typo. Should read 350 SBC not 360.
