Description for Toyota Previa 1992
1992 Toyota Previa LE. Although odometer reads 40,xxx miles, it actually has that plus 53,825 miles (for 94,xxx total miles) due to a dealer servicing issue many years ago. We’ve owned this vehicle since new in 1992. Complete service record available. New Michelin tires in 2015 with less than 5,000 miles. New battery last year. Starts and runs great. Body is in great shape—only body work was for a broken mirror years ago. I can’t tell which one it was now. Interior has second row captains chairs, and third row fold-up seats for extended hauling area. Has roof rack, new radio and retrofitted A/C for non-CFC coolant. Standard feature includes rear A/C.
Quirks: It has an extremely slow A/C coolant leak, but it is an $10-20/year fix if you add your own coolant (which is really easy on this vehicle). A little rust shows on concrete underneath if you leave it outside in one spot for an extended period. Tried to replace forward/backward slider handle to one of rear seats, but it wouldn’t fit so it is in seat pocket for whenever you need it. Battery will run down fairly quickly (a couple days) if you don’t get the doors all closed tightly enough to shut off the door ajar light. I’ve attached front license plate with double-sided tape rather than pay dealer to attach a bracket.
It is currently in Cincinnati as I loaned it to my son to relocate his deep freeze. I expect to have it back in Chesterfield MO (near St Louis) next unless someone closer to Cincinnati buys it next week.
