Description for Toyota Land Cruiser 1965

This is a true Survivor. I found this FJ45LPB on a farm in arid eastern Washington state. It was a one-owner farm truck with 23,300 original miles. It had been sitting for 15 years when I acquired it, but it was very original and unmolested. It still wears its original factory paint and is all original, from the hub caps and Kioto head lights to the original carburetor. Every bit of it is how it rolled off the factory floor. It has the patina and character to match a life lived on the farm but is amazingly well preserved for 52 years old. My goal upon acquiring the old girl was to preserve the amazing original patina while mechanically restoring the drive-train so it could be a dependable daily driver. I went through and rebuilt, replaced, or refurbished essentially every component in the drive-train. Below I will list all the details of the mechanical restoration.
Rebuilt axles front and rear with new Koyo bearings and sealsComplete brake job, including drums, pads, wheel cylinders, and hosesRebuilt drive shafts with new Toyota u-jointsNew Toyota shocks, brake lines, and spring bushingsNew Tie rod ends, rebuilt center arm, and rebuilt drag linkNew stock-size tiresRebuilt t-case, new seals in transmission, new clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing, rear-main sealAll new seals throughout the engine, new fuel pump, distributor, fuel filter, water pump, alternator, new thermostat, full tune up, rebuilt carb, new water hoses, vacuum hoses, and clamps throughoutNew brake master, clutch master, and slaveNew headliner, seat covers, window gaskets, and felts, etc.
I have additional photos and videos of it running and driving that I can provide, please send me a message and I will send links. Also please ask any questions you may have. Personal inspections and test drives welcome, but remember it is a 52 year old vehicle so it is sold as is, where is.
This is truly a unique example of an FJ45LPB that has survived against the odds in perfectly patina'd original condition and deserves to be admired and preserved by its future owner.
