"1980 Toyota Stuck in Time"You are looking at a 1980 Toyota that only has 3,801 miles on it.It was bought new in Charlotte, NC by a co-workers grandfather in 1980 when he unexpectedly died in 1982 it only had 3,800 miles on it. Her father drove it home 1 mile and parked it next to a outbuilding in his yard where it sat for the last 34 years until he passed away last year. He did not like Japanese vehicles at that time so he would not let her or anyone else drive it. The engine will turn over so it is not stuck, bad is the gas tank, interior, rust and of course the original tires. I put tubes in them to get it loaded on my trailer. It has the 3T-C engine 1770cc, air cleaner is still the original one and still bright white.I looked under the car and her grandfather spent the extra money to have it under coated so the frame and floor pan looks great except one small area as you can see in the picture. Also since the driver side wasn't next to anything the bottom of the drivers door is rusted.
