Up for sale is my 1978 BJ40 Land Cruiser. This truck has been a preservation work and is 95% all original. The truck is in very good original condition and was obviously never abused. There are only a few original parts that were replaced with new old stock parts that I have had to source from different places from around the world. Just wanted to keep it as original as possible while at the same time making her look as good as possible while making it mechanically sound and safe to drive. The truck was imported for Uruguay to Texas several years ago and looking at the etched serial numbers on some of the original glass it may have belonged to the Uruguayan Military at some time in its life. The truck runs and drives perfectly. Only a few more minor issues that still need some attention and repaired but for the most part she's ready to go and enjoy. Ive got a new set of Rough County front and rear springs, new steering damper, along with a full set of grease-able Oldman Emu shackles that I have not installed that will go with it in the sale. Ive got a few other NOS parts along with a set of filters and a nice cover for the truck. Hate to see her go but Im moving to Alaska and will not have room for it in doors up there. Hate to see her go. Cant drive it anywhere without everyone turning to a have a look at her. Truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this listing early.
