Description for Toyota Land Cruiser 1986
1986 Toyota HJ 60 Diesel and 1985 Toyota FJ 60 gas projectSelling two Land Cruisers as one lot, I have realized this project will never be finished, and have decided to offer it to someone else. 4 or maybe 5 years ago I have purchased silver Land Cruiser in Canada, it was, and still is running and driving car, however it is very rusty and was purchased with intent to replace the body and frame. The whole reason for going extra mile was awesome 2H diesel that is inside. The 2H is a 4.0L (3,980cc) inline 6, 12 valve OHV indirect injection diesel engine. Bore is 91mm and stroke is 102mm, with a compression ratio of 20.7:1. Output is 105PS (77kW) at 3,500rpm - later production years 107hp (80kW) with 177lb·ft (240 N·m) of torque at 2,000rpm.
So this is factory configuration, LHD Canadian market, that was legally imported and I have those documents someplace. Even this car is as rusty as they get, all, or at least most of the hard to source parts are there. Engine runs excellent and was remanufactured at some point on past.
Then I started looking for a donor vehicle, and have sourced 1985 BJ60 in California. It was not runner and quite honestly I haven't even attempted to start it. Pulled the engine and transmission out, more to access the situation than anything else, and left it at that. This one comes with clean California title.
So needless to say, I have some serious money invested, but it is what it is. This will be no reserve auction, past $5000 opening bid, and that's not even close what I have in those two.I will assist with potential shipping in any way I can, can possibly organize it too.
At the end of the day, what you see is what you get. Silver car will run on its own, with jump, but obviously not drive able past the trailer. Blue car is a roller. You are welcome and encouraged to inspect cars in person, but only before the auction end. After auction is over, if you are winning bidder I expect you to pay within 2 days.
