Description for Toyota Land Cruiser 1993

Guess what? I'm relisting my old Landcruiser because the winning bidder decided to fall off the face of the earth...I must say that it is a bit disheartening, that an individual would have such a lack of integrity...As a matter of record, his name is Eric Madigan, Member Id: emadigan2011, he is from Saratoga Springs, NY. Just in case he tries to bid on something you all are trying to sell.

Well, it is with a great amount of sorrow that I put our old girl up for sale. This old Landcruiser has been a part of our family for years. We used to keep her up in our home in Vermont. We sold that home and moved her down to our Florida house, and she has spent most of the time sitting in the Garage. No matter how I try to justify it, there simply isn't a good reason, (other than sentimental reasons) to keep her. It is a bit embarrassing, how attached we are to this vehicle. But, for those of you in the know, you understand! Landcruisers are simply one of the very best 4X4's you can own. Their quality and dependability are legendary...and 300K miles before major repairs is normal. An added benefit is that this comes with factory Lockers.
I'll try to be very accurate in my description, so here goes!
Mechanical: Very good...We have always maintained this old truck regardless of cost. Mechanically, everything works as it should. AC blows ice cold, and the two heaters, (optional rear) will keep you all warm no matter the outside temp. Think of those mild -15 degree winter days in Vermont. Front axle was fully rebuilt a few thousand miles ago. No surprises. We've replaced shocks, brakes, etc. as needed. I've kept a pretty thorough file of all the service records over the years. I could literally drive this old girl from Florida to California and not be concerned one bit.
Body: Overall, pretty good. Yes, she has some scars and a little rust, (rocker panel and door bottoms only on driver's side, see pictures) I did take her to a local reputable body shop just to see what it would cost to remove & repair the rust, and paint her. Their estimate was $5,500. If it doesn't go to a good home this time, I'll probably do this and just keep her. I'm sure one of the grand kids may one day want her.
Interior: Very good condition. Comes with every option available in 1993, including leather interior, power everything, 8 speaker stereo, power sunroof, etc. Leather seating is in excellent condition in the middle and back jumps seats. Driver's & passenger's leather is in very good condition, (no tears or rips). Carpet is also in good condition.
Personality flaws: Passenger side power seat needs to be repaired. Everything works correctly except the front/back adjuster. I think it might be one of the plastic gears. Power radio antenna doesn't go up/down when you push the button. You have to put it up/down manually. A little of the clear coat has come of one of the plastic fender flares, Probably a few other little items, just can't think of them right now.
Please understand that it is more important that our old Landcruiser goes to a good home than it is to sell it. I've put what I believe is a fair "buy it now" price considering what similar Landcruisers are going for with 100K more miles on them then mine. I've also taken into consideration the cost of bringing the body back to new condition too. Plus, I know what I've done to maintain this girl over the years. She has never been abused, I will not end the auction early unless someone agrees to the "buy it now" price... Happy to answer any questions you might have. If you are going to ship the truck, I am happy to help coordinate...Best of luck to everyone!
Lastly, Yes, the fine print...
