Description for Toyota Corona 1974
This is a probably the most original, untouchedToyota Publica 1000 (KP30) 1974' in the world. This is the second generation Publica with a 993 cc (2K) motor and a 4-speed gearbox. Derived from "public" and "car," the name signifies "a car cherished by the public." The name was chosen in a public naming competition that attracted nearly 1.1 million entries. The car is in excellent-original condition inside and out. There is one minor bubbling in the paint on the top front right fender, which can be in picture. The odometer reads 28827 kms, (17,912 miles) runs and drives beautifully and sounds terrific. Rarely driven and always stayed under cover when not in-use. Car was originally from Berlin and has been in storage for 30 years. Fuel system was completely gone through as well as fresh fluids. 99% of the car is OEM, including, original tires, paint, spare tire, tool kit and rare Toyota fire extinguisher. car was also factory equippedwith rear fog light. For those who don't know of the Publica, it is a predecessor of the Starlet, and it's in the same family as the Toyota 800. It's equipped with the same drivetrain as the Corolla in the same era. This Publica is an excellent example of a rare Toyota classic. Car is currently registered in California and is smog exempt.
