Description for Toyota MR2 1990

FYI, If making an offer please send a message for it to be considered. I would appreciate it. I have the car bargain priced and valued under market. Also way less then I actually have invested.
Up for sale is a real 1990 SW20 Japanese Domestic Market JDM Toyota MR2 GT turbo. It is a preferred solid roof car. Power side mirrors that fold in and out with a press of a button, automatic temperature control and 4-ABS are some of the unique features on a JDM version.
This is an authentic old school custom build in Japan. It isn't a recreation. Has around 119,000 kilometers (74,000 original miles give or take). It is a great driver. Doesn't leak any fluids or use oil. Car is solid Not mint but looks and runs and handles great for it's age,
The GT is the upper level and has leather. I have owned it for several years. Always a pleasure to drive and never fails to turn heads. It looks and feels like a Japanese super car because it is. Looks like no ones Mister 2.

Engine is a 3S-GTE runs smooth and pulls hard. Engine is mostly stock with no surprises. Manual transmission shifts as you would expect.

New plugs with aftermarket wires
Greddy boost gauge/ controller
Momo steering wheel
New performance clutch with aluminum flywheel. (300 miles)
Tein fully adjustable coilovers
Genuine Veilside full bodykit, Back in the day this kit was $7000. in SuperStreet missing a side marker light but is available from Veilside.

TOMS roof scoop

Enkei wheels

Kakimoto stainless exhaust (rare longer available new)

Japanese AddZest (Clarion) TV stereo with flip up CD/DVD player/navigation system that works. Have the oem manual in Japaneese for it.

The paint is white with blue pearl in the clear. Not perfect now but still shows well. Some clear coat issues and chips etc. Average wear and tear.

Issues I know of. The left window doesn't roll down. The black moldings on the doors show wear. The a/c worked great and several weeks ago didn't feel as cold. Was very hot that day (may or may not require service) Hatch cover rod is missing. The clip on the plug on the Trust boost gauge needs repair (comes unplugged) The boost gauge in the dash is fine. No known drive ability issues.

Factory Tool kit and original books and manuals for the car and the accessories. Car is stored in a heated and cooled garage.

Has all the past import documentation and current paperwork it's 100% US legal. It is licensed and titled in my name. I brought it in the US from Canada. Despite what you have heard not as easy as the internet chats will tell you. You can't just one day roll across the boarder and say "hey" I will be back through in several hours. I am picking up a car. It was almost as expensive as going to Japan.

I am not a JDM importer. Not a dealer just an enthusiast who no longer has the time to enjoy it.I am selling as is and as seen. I encourage an inspection by an appointment only. No inspections after the sale has ended sorry. I require a $500 non refundable deposit and must be sent prior to picking up the car. Payment in full within 7 days. I do NOT do Paypal. Cash after the deposit is sent or wire transfer. I will work with your shipper. Buyer is responsible for the shipping. Please ask questions.
