Description for Toyota Pickup 1989

You are bidding on my 1989 Toyota Pickup Extra Cab. This is a US Spec Truck made for US Market. Truck has a professionally swapped Mercedes OM617 Turbo Diésel 3.0 that was performed my TDSWAPS in Oregon back in 2011. Truck was then brought to compliant as a “Diesel” in the State of Washington. I purchased the truck 6 month’s ago and drove it from Washington to California. Did 40 mpg all the way home. I then got the truck registered and Titled as a “Diesel” under my name in California. Truck is now legally Smog exempt for life. I know this might not be a big deal for the rest of the States, but being California Titled as a “Diesel” and “Smog Exempt” is a very difficult task in California and becomes golden.
Now about the truck. Cold starts great and right away. No issues at all. Very strong and torquey. Parts are extremely easy to get and is a very reliable and fuel efficient truck. As soon as i purchased the truck, I ended up restoring it to the exact factory color. It has the Toyota (JDM) Surf front end everything lining up beautifully. Factory Toyota rear bumper. Wheels are 17x9 all squared around wrapped on Toyo Proxes Tires. Also purchased Factory 1989 Toyota 4x4 Pickup SR5 Complete Decals that match exactly how the truck would of looked back in 1989. There are no dents, no scratches, no rust, or fading on the exterior. interior is in great shape. No cracks on dash, no tears. Headliner and rest are holding in good shape. Truck has Power Steering. Does not have AC but should be easy to install. All gauges and Speedometer work great. Blower works good and so does the Heater. Manual Window mechanism work great (Shocking). Interior and exterior lights work great. There is a Methanol Injection pump that was installed for an extra 30hp. Truck is fun to drive, lots of head turning. Sounds like a small Cummins.
I purchased the truck with the intention of keeping it (Hence why I went allOut). I ended up buying a different Toyota Diesel Vehicle. I am not trying to get rich off this sale. But wish that someone would really appreciate this truck and make great use of it for the state it’s in. Wish everyone a Happy New Years and good luck.
