Description for Toyota Other 1993
This truck drives well and would be great as a small commuter, it gets 23 to 25 mpg on the highway. It would be a great fishing truck as well as an awesome first rig. I’ve seen these little 2WD pickups do some good work off road and around the city. I was going to use it as a project truck but, I do not have the time to see the project through. CALIFORNIA farm truck with very little surface rust and zero body rot. Very clean for its age, and has had some previous work done on it before I owned it. Truck recently received a 2 inch lift kit. Tires barely have any wear. Baja style front end with bumper removed, but I haven’t bought the skid plate yet. Front end has recently been rebuilt excluding sway brace. Aftermarket intake and headers. New alternator and thermostat. Transmission/clutch is solid and has an overdrive for driving on the freeway. A/C works well! Tracks pretty straight, I have adjusters and extra upper tie rod bolts for fine tuning the alignment to your liking. No power steering. The top of the truck’s center console is beat up, but the rest of the interior is pretty clean. Small tear in driver side of the bench seat. Stereo works but needs the speakers troubleshot. Bed of the truck is a little beat up but straight. Takes a little tweak to open the tailgate. Engine leaks about a quart every other week, but has been reliable for me to do a bi-weekly 6hr commute for the last three months. After market exhaust doesn’t quite fit the truck, it hits the torsion bar and is a straight pipe. It’s loud but sounds decent until it rattles on the torsion bar. I have an aftermarket OEM exhaust for the truck I’ll throw in for free. Most of the hangars are still under the truck last I checked, you would just need an OEM exhaust manifold for it to fit. I haven’t gotten around to it yet.I have a new gasket kit for the engine as well as brand new rod bolts. Minimal additional parts will be required to rebuild the top end of the engine. Head gasket still seems solid. Please e-mail me if you have any questions.
