Description for Toyota Celica 1994
Up for sale is my 1994 Toyota Celica GT 2.2 litre manual 5-speed hatchback. This is an enthusiast maintained daily driver and will be missed. Highest bidder wins this NO RESERVE auction. By all standards, it's hard to believe she's a now classic car. For those familiar with this model, it's often confused with the Supra on the street, and is the first question I'm usually asked. The 2.2 litre 5S-FE is a legendarily reliable motor (Google it), it gets decent mileage, and has enough power to propel the Celica around in sporting fashion. A smooth shifting 5-speed manual gear box adds to the playful nature of this little runabout, and it's size makes it the vehicle of choice for quick trips around town. Unfortunately, crowded parking lots have put a few door dings here and there, and she's picked up a few hail pops over the years as well. You'll notice a couple of them, and some scratches/discoloration on the hood photos. There's hail pop on the passenger side C pillar, and another one or two small ones on the top; nothing too heinous. I noted some scratches in the back painted plastic by the key hole, but again, nothing terrible for a car this age. You can tell she's been loved. Inside, she's super clean. The dash looks new, the plastics are in good shape, the carpeted floor is clean with no horrible stains or smells. The seats are nice too, with great side bolsters, however you'll see there's some seam damage on the driver's seat photo, which is the worst there is. This is an optioned out model includes a factory moon roof, 8 speaker stereo, cruise, PW/PL/PS, ICE COLD AIR, etc. Mechanically, I wouldn't hesitate to drive her across the country. Known issues are with the clicker, which doesn't work, the lock solenoid on driver door, and makes a clicking sound from the alarm on and off. Also the 12v cig outlet isn't working, and the antenna is broken off, though the motor is still working (just needs new internals) The only non-stock items are: ST suspensions brand front and rear sway bars (even better handling), EBC Green Stuff brake pads w/stainless steel braided brake lines (firmer pedal feel), and LED under dash color-selectable ambient lighting. Bonus: She's also got a nearly new set of Falken Pro GS all season tires and the original owners manual (plus a Chilton's manual for the 94-98 Celica). Good luck, and happy bidding. All Sales are final. Check feedback and bid with confidence.
