1982 Toyota Supra. Condition is "Used". Up for auction is my 1982 L-Type Toyota Supra. The color is 3A1 Red metallic, with a terra cotta leather interior. I bought this car 8 years ago and with the hopes of making it my weekend driver. Since getting it back from a complete paint job and replacing as many moldings with NOS moldings, I've lost my storage area. The car is pretty much complete, but is in need of finishing the project I started.

Here is the good... this cars starts right up, drives and runs very well for a 39 year old car. I did front brakes and reman calipers. Also replaced the front bolt-on rotors and repacked the wheel bearings. I installed 4 new BFGoodrich P215/65R14 tires. All lights, turn signals, flasher are in working order. Horn and sunroof works as designed. The top of the rear seats were sun damaged and sent out to get re-upholstered. Ive had the quarter windows and hatch glass tinted dark limo tint. All locks use the same key, except for the hatch which was purchased off of a '84 L-Type from Oregon. All wiper blades are all original with all 3 wiper jnserts have been replaced. The interior trim and carpeting throughout is in exceptional condition. I do not have the OEM floor mats, they were not present when I bought the car. This car is a very early Supra, built in November of 1981.The car was originally sold to the original owner from Jordan Toyota in South Bend, Indiana

And now for the not so good. A/C is inoperative and havn't had a chance to figure out what it needs. Also, this car had an aftermarket radio that didnt work. This radio that is in the car now is out of an '82. The wires were cut and spliced and a real mess. I do have the pigtail that needs to be soldered in for the factory radio to work. This is the only year to not have a power antenna...it is actually in the windshield. The digital speedometer, odometer and tachometer works, but the gas and temperature gauge coes NOT work. Not sure why, it is above my technical knowledge. The tires are new as stated above, but need to be balanced.
