FJ40. April 1972. Restomod. Original Chassis had 88,000 miles on it. There are approximately 800 miles since the restoration was completed. Local builder for restoration. Its a monster and there is not another like it.

LS3, 6.2 L Engine Swap. Crate Engine. Makes 430 HP and 425 Lb/ft torque.

6 speed automatic transmission

2 speed FJ60 split transfer case

FJ60 Rear Axle and brake upgrade and front axle spacing mod

Front Disc brake upgrade (they are drum brakes until late 1976 models otherwise)

Custom Exhaust

Ron Davis Aluminum Radiator

Replaced Master Cylinder and Booster

Vintage AC added (amazing a/c and heater)

Dakota Digital Gauge (authentic match with modern digital upgrade)

Old Man Emu 3.5 inch lift complete with reverse shackle

Custom wheels.

33 in K02 all-terrains

Power Steering added

Custom reupholstered seats (front and back). Marine Grade material.

Custom sound system with hidden speakers and amp (6 speakers plus subwoofer, connected to hidden blue tooth under the seat. No unit added to dash)

Rust removal, body work, and repaint. Painter promised "no rust worries for another 20-30 years". I did a satin black on the bod with some gloss black highlights. Cool and unique design but the paint is not perfect.
