Bought in 2019 from a Barrett Jackson auction in July 2019 this FJ40 hasn’t seen much action. Fires right up and drives normal. Has the 3 speed manual and shifts fine. Had the brakes converted to 4 wheel disc but honestly I can’t seem to get the air out of the system and I need to pump the brakes before stopping- included are the original drums and drum brake system (see pix). Previous owner had the whole vehicle rhino lined and it’s starting to flake up in a few locations (right rear quarter, rear door and a small patch on the roof). The carpet and seats are new. The lock is missing from the drivers door, mounting gasket missing from the antenna and the drivers window need a little help going up (new regulators included). Rear blower motor works, front blower works but doesn’t feel very strong. Lights all work. Has new tires and a very original vehicle. Odometer says 78k but have no way of knowing true mileage- the title from the auction states 180000C- not actual mileage. Put it up on my lift- frame is solid and a exhaust has had a resonator installed instead of a muffler. Just lost interest in this beast and it needs a new home! Any questions feel free to ask.
