Ipurchasedthis '75 TR6 in 1999 from 2 brothers who got it from its original owner. It has always been garage kept and babied, ever raced or driven in snow. In fact it has only been caught in rain a couple of times in it's whole life, we had other vehicles for precipitation driving) so it's very solid.All owners were over 40 when weboughtit.Mechanicaly it is very good. It has an exhaust leak (which makes it sound very good to my ear) and I think the clutch is original and I might replace it in awhile if I werekeepingit.It starts upeasily with the manual choke and once warmed up it runs strongly. It goes through the gears fine and nothing is out of place or broken, ut I think it needs some rubber suspension bushings. The paint shines well and half the car has been repainted due to paint surface finish spider cracksI didn't like. the other half has a couple of small imperfections here and there, ut from 20 feet, t looks great. The top is new as is the carpet and they were professionally installed. It has many other new parts, ike all new ignition parts, rille, prings, attery (fortunately it still has the Triumph green-ish coolant hoses under the hood).I've driven it less than 1K mi.'s and it runs great and is really fun to drive, owever, 'm 6'4" and it gets uncomfortable for me on longer drives.The interior is good with clean seats etc. it just needs a little tlc to be super nice. The numbers match and it has never been in an accident. I will include many new parts I havn't put on yet like new windsreen washer pump, ome new rubber parts, hifter knob, R6 decals.... This car is a nice solid driver that can be improved on to get to show car status. There is NO rot on this car, t was Ziebarted when new, nd some of that coating is coming off underneath. This is a 40 yr. old vehicle which means it runs and drives like a vehicle from 1975, o please know that. It is VERY a very solid car and would make anyone proud to own it.
