Description for Triumph TR4 1963

This project car comprises a rolling shell from a 62/63 TR4 which has been (prior to my ownership) restored. Was repainted in original British Racing Green but subsequently got a few chips in it (still a really nice rust free starting point). Chassis in great shape, lack painted, o signs of recurring rust. Recon'd suspension and brakes (not totally sure how good the recon is since this was also prior to my ownership).Engine and gearbox (non overdrive) from a '67 TR4A (non-IRS). Was seen running before I purchased it. Mileage unknown but thought to be pretty low. Three wings/fenders, reat shape, n primer, lso come from the later car. Front left wing is rough, eeds some patch welding or replacing. The doors and boot/trunk (sorry forgot to photograph) are still on the '67 parts car but are in great shape, o dings, o rust andprimed.Windscreen in good shape. Hood mechanism good but no cloth. Two sets of seats to choose from, ith and without headrest. No carpets.Dash is in good shape, t's been restored but could probably be redone. Instrumentsall thought to be working and in good shape. Bumpers in fairly good shape, sual pits. I hadn't decided whether to rechrome or not. A few minor dents, asily knocked out. Most of the lights are either fine or I have replacements for them.Everything is dusty but garaged or covered and well looked after. All stripped parts are bagged, abelled and boxed.Approx. $2000 of new parts to complete restoration, hassis mountings, retty much all rubber components you can think of, rim pieces, ncluding new transmission tunnel (plastic instead of the daft original cardboard). I can'tguaranteethere is everything needed to finish (certainly not carpets and interior trim) but pretty close.I'm selling for the old reasons of ill-health and morepertinently the consequent loss of cash to finish. Breaks my heart, his was a dream, ut you can pick it up and finish it easily. Send me a photo when it's done! The rest of the '67 doner car is available if you're interested. It's in fair shape, eeds new drivers side floor and a few other patches welded in. Not part of the sale but available.Anything Ihaven'tphotographed ormentioned, ust ask.
