Description for Triumph TR3 A 1960
Parts replaced/ repaired and installed: Sill assemblies and Rockerpanels, brakes all restored, new fuel lines, hydrauliclines, Master cylinders for breaks andtransmission/ clutch, wiringharness, battery box, lights and light covers, entire engine compartment and ignition, panelsrepaired and rust removed and replaced with new metal, new shocks, bushings etc.Parts Included and not Installed: New Interiorpanelsand seat covers in black with white piping, black carpet kit, almost all finishing gaskets and rubber, tons ofmiscellaneousparts andaccessories. to finish. I'd say I have about 95% of everything needed to finish.
Condition: The majority of the difficult work has been done but the car is still in restoration mode howeverdrivable. I noticed there is a small radiator leak from a pinhole that is in the top of the radiator, not in the core. I had the radiator rebuilt with an new core. There are some minor areas where some metal work is needed and could be completed by a body man prior to paint but overall the body is straight. The Floor panels wererepairedby the prior owner with fiberglass and could be replaced if desired however the repair was don well and I had intended on leaving them as is. I had the rocker panels and the sill assemblies replaced with newpanelsfrom moss motors. I had all new bolts installed in the fender panels. The gas gage does not work but I installed a new fuelreceivingunit. Overall a TON of work has been done to make this a great driver.
