Up for auction at no reserve is this 1977 Triumpth Spitfire 1500. This is a project vehicle that was last on the road in 2006 when the starter had locked up according to previous owner. It had sat out in the weather for some time before I acquired it and since its been in my garage for over a year. I have lost interest in bringing this Spitfire back to life. What you see in the pictures is what you get. I have installed a battery and tried to crank car but the starter is locked up. All lights seem to work and motor will spin free. Interior is trashed a new top is included with sale I assume it fits the car as it was in the trunk. Car has no rot or rust other then surface rust on spots. It has been in NM its entire life according to previous owner. I wouldn't think it take much to get this back on the road after fluids were changed along with a new starter. I'm not a mechanic this is what I assume. Car is as-is where-is NON running. This is a solid Spitfire all glass is good. Tireswill air-up long enough to get on a trailer. Brakes are not locked up and key works in ignition. This is a great Spitfire to restore and get back on the road.
