Description for Triumph GT6 1970
1970 GT6 last year of the round tail. This car needs a complete restoration however the floor pans and frame rails are solid just surface rust as far as I can tell and I have included pictures. The only missing parts I know of are the rear bumpers and the air filter. It will need quarter patch panels, rocker panels (included not installed) one small patch left upper tail (very small) and one small spot on the windshield frame. The Left door could be repaired but easier to replace with used. When I purchased the car the previous owner stated the engine had been rebuilt a couple years prior. I cannot verify this so assume not. It did run when I picked it up however I have not cranked it in two years and I do not have a battery in it. The carburetors will need a rebuild (kits included), I have no clue on the transmission or clutch though we did drive it on the trailer a couple of years ago. I want to be clear this is a project car and will require a lot of work however it is a 1970 GT6 the best and last of the round tails and it has good bones. Included are about $700 in new parts, Aluminum radiator, rocker panels left and right, transmission tunnel, hydraulic bonnet lift, mirror, carburetor rebuild kits. My 66 tiger project is #1 so I will not get to this and hate to see it sit. I have a clean title in hand. Car is sold as is where is with no warranties or guaranties of any kind. This car is located in Maryland 21774 and must be trailered and all shipping expenses are that of the buyer. Payment is cash at pickup and due within 10 days of auctions close. If you have negative or less than 5 feedbacks please contact me prior to bidding. If the winner does not contact me within 24 hours of the auctions close I reserve the right to relist the car. Thanks for looking.
