LOW RESERVE! We acquired this Triumph from the son of the original owner. The car was bought new in 1974, driven until 1977 when his Dad died, and then sat in storage within his Grandmother's garage until he was old enough to drive. The son never used the car, and due to personal and health problems sold the car to us a few years ago. Basically this is an all original low mileage car except for the work listed here. The car still sports its original paint! The paint shines pretty well. It does have some chips, stains, and dings from sitting in the garage all those years. We opted not to repaint the car, because its "only original once" and how often can you find an original survivor car with original paint - nothing is hidden here! No rust or bondo! We completely went thru the car, replacing most rubber, tires, and perishable items. The brakes and hydraulics, fuel system, front suspension, etc have been overhauled. New radiator and correct green cooling hoses have been installed. The car has its original RARE hard-top and the original soft top and frame. The carpets had been damaged by mice, so we sourced and fitted the correct blue carpeting for the vehicle. The original wood dash is in great condition. The car runs and drives as it should. The oil pressure is strong and the temperature stays cool. The engine sounds great with its new stainless exhaust system.
