1976 triumph Spitfire Rotary Project

Description for Triumph Spitfire 1976

This is a 1976 Triumph Spitfire 12A project car. The car itself is in very good shape for the year, very little rust at all. The paint is a nice driver quality very presentable. It has a Mazda 12A Rotary engine. The engine runs but the carburetor is junk and needs to be replaced with a better match for the 12A. We replaced the transmission it came with and the clutch has 90% life left in it. We built the trans tunnel to accommodate the swap. The car has a decent top. The car is complete and once the fuel system is configured correctly should be a fun ride. Things that need to be done are the fuel system, better front support brace for the engine, gauges there are none, carpet. This is a project that can easily be done by spring. The car is located in Beltsville MD 20705 and will have to be towed it is not drivable. All shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
