This Triumph spitfire was a locally owned car. The previous owner used this car as his touring car and daily driver this summer. He also used it to take to many local car shows. This car comes with 2 full binders full of receipts, pics at shows, awards etc etc. It had a repaint done around 20 years ago that shows well. you can still see some survivor daily driver light blemishes like scratches, scuffs, etc, pretty minor and I would call this car a 5 footer. I looked through the receiptsand found documentation of a new interior, trans and engine maintenanceetc. This car starts right up as the video shows and cruises at 60 plus mph really well. The top is there but he really never used it much. This car comes with the full tonau seat cover and also the convertible boot. All of the lights blinkers etc work. The roll bar looks great. The tires are in great shape and the wire wheels really set the car off. The racing stripe is to die for. The hood was at one time reinforced at the hinges. The hood opens and shuts and latches. The doors open and shut and the windows go up and down. The driver inside door handle should be replaced. (easy part to get) the trunk latch also should be replaced. The trunk does open and shut. This car gets thumbs up and I had people stop me for pics with it when I did the video. really a fun great looking triumph.
