Description for Triumph TR-6 1976
I am selling my 1976 Triumph Tr6 which has been a bitter sweet experience. I purchased the car from a party out of North Carolina. Unfortunately, 1976 was the first year that a car needed to be smogged in California. There was no Smog equipment installed on the car. The car appears to be rust free. I decided to keep the car and soon realized it needed the suspension rebuilt. I had the hubs professionally rebuilt, new springs all the way around as well as the shocks, new bushings, new fulgrums, new emergency brake cables new brakes, new interior and top. Installed a new muffler, Revotec electric fan, front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed. Professionally rebuilt carburetors. All gauges work. It shifts fine and drives well ( I must say that I have driven the car maybe 5 miles, I cannot legally drive it in California, I have a California title only). The car needs an alignment due to having the suspension rebuilt and thecarburetorsneed to be tuned after being rebuilt. The reason I am selling the car is I don’t want to set it up with the required smog equipment so it will pass a smog test in California. I also have health issues that prohibit me from keeping the car. I kept all the old parts from the suspension. I have a file of receipts. The car is located in Northern California (Santa Rosa, 95409) I have more images as well as a video.Buyer pays for shipping. The link below will direct you to the Tr6 Video in action!
