1972 TRIUMPH GT6 MK3 WITH OVERDRIVE

Description for Triumph GT6 1972

This a restoration project I won't be able to complete.My work / storage property is up for sale and I have sell 2GT6 projects. Title states 1972, vin plate shows Oct 1971,I guess it was sold in 1972.
This one has the rare overdrive transmission.
I had to move the car outside the lot so I had to quicklypaint the carwith white primer by hand so I wouldn't getfined for having an unsightlycar by the HOA.I bought the car dismantledas you can see in the photos,I did none of this, there is only one seat.The only other things I can see missing is the lower rear chrometrim and gas cap. The front windshield has a chip crack,you can get one on line for around $150.
There is body work to be done and the under coatingis incomplete. The rear under damage looks likesomeonepushed the car with something flat causingthe through rust.The trunk latch bracket need to be rewelded.All the driving mechanics need to be gone thru.I have great shipper that delivers cars like this.
This rare model is a great keeper forsomeone or a greatmoney making flip for someone that can do the restoration.Front rotors look great, just surface rust.
