1966 VW Convertible Bug California style very nice car

Description for Volkswagen Beetle - Classic 1966

1966 Volkswagen Beatle Convertible, his California style cabriolet is finished in a bright red exterior, hite seating and white convertible top with matching boot cover, t is a dry Southern California rust free example that has been cared for, erviced, nd ready for a new owner. I have taken many high Res photos of the car including under. Same owner since 2006.

The exterior is very nice, he paint has very good depth and shine to it, he paint aprox 8 years old, here are misc touch ups around car more towards the rear motor cover at the bottom, he body is very straight, oors, nd hood, runk, nd top all align nice. Front and rear bumpers carry good chrome, ll stainless trim is excellent and not dented. Window frames are not rotted and all glass is UN cracked in good shape. The white convertible top fits nice and has a new matching boot cover, here is no rust issues around the rear of the bottom of the top on the body, nd the car is not rusted, he floors are in good shape with the passenger rear floor being replaced some time ago sue to the battery leaking over the years. Headlights, ail lights in good shape, ubbers also in good condition. The car sits on upgraded wheels with new tires, he front end is a stock beam that is adjustable and is a ball joint system, nd the car just had an alignment and is spot on.

Interior is pretty much stock in good shape as seen in the photos, runk is finished but I do not have a spare. New carpet as well as new coco mats.

The motor was recently rebuilt to a 1641cc it has an Edlebrock larger intake with a 34 Pick3 Solex, 9 bosch distributor w coil, ew belts, luids, oot covers w axles serviced, ew clutch complete, ew 4 to 1 complete exhaust with stock exits. The car runs excellent lots of power, ood feeling in the synchro's, nd braking system, very well sorted example. Included are some other items a header from empi, he stock carb and oil bath air cleaner.
