1973 Volkswagen Thing with 40,406 Original Miles !! Clean NJ title .. It was originally from out west and was purchased by a German associate of mine and shipped to NJ about 4 years age, ho I recently acquired the Thing from..... It has been garage kept most of its lifeand is the nicest original one on ebay for sale I've seen!!!!This is a 1973 original car and has not been fully restored. So there is some minor dents and dings in the body.. There has been no body work done to it..Any paint that's beenreplaced was hand brushed on with VW factory paint.. There is rustunderneath on the floor boards, ome of the floorboards are rusted through...The rockers, oor jams ect are all solid with no major rust .... This is NOT a project car and is in running driving condition.. It is up to you on how far you want to go with it!!!.. The engine is in running condition and had a brand new carbourater put on it not to long ago.. It does need some minor work to make it run 100%.. It currently will not stay running and will stall at idol... ALSO THIS IS A 4-Cly 1585cc/46hp 1bbl MOTOR,,, f you think its a race carand goes over 65MPHDO NOTBID OR MAKE A OFFER!! ...There is a small rip in the rear window of the soft top. The re - moveable windows are not original but are in good condition.. The interior is ingreat condition ( see pics ) .. See all my pics attached for condition..
