ROLLING SHELL - NO MOTOR / NO TRANSMISSION - alot of other MISSING PARTS - PLEASE READ
There is no engin, ransmissio, uel tan, hifte, inkag, ailgat, ear license plate light, o door handle, o hood, o grill no headlights no passenger fender. No door panel, o seats, o seat belt, o speedometer, o glove bo, o center console.
This truck was originally a Turbo Diesel 1.6 engine ( its been sold )
Was a 5 speed manual transmission ( also been sold )
Truck had working Air Conditioning - which the dash parts and engine parts minus the compressor that was bolted to the motor are there. the small line going from the drier to the condenser is cut from accident and rubbing on the alternator.
Truck was in a low mile per hour front end accident that wrecked the front passenger fender and core support.
This truck was originally from Arizona - no strut tower rus, o rocker rus, loor pans are AWESOME.
BUT - ( there is always a BUT ) - camper shell had carpet inside the bed and the bed carpet got wet and rusted out the top layer of the floor - as pictured. ( idiot previous owner )
I think this truck can be saved and kept on the road using your RUSTY truck. I have been collecting parts for cabriolet front end conversion but bought another truck that doesnt need body work.. So i am listing this truck for sale AS IS WHERE IS - with NO RESERVE - starting at $250 ( what i feel the remaining parts are worth that are still currently on the truck )
What you get :
1982 VW Rabbit truck rolling shell - good tires on 13" rims.
Ac components are still present
All factory wiring is still there.
Rear end has helper springs to have better weight / hauling limit ? ( i have never seen these before and i have owned 20+ caddys )
Rear sliding window - the latch to keep it SHUT is missing / broke - but it still opens and shuts.
All the glass is there and the windshield is actually in GREAT shape.
Window regulators work and the glass is up ( there are no window cranks )
The opening glue style vent windows are GLUED or stuck shut - maybe taped? They need replaced or paid attention to.
