Want a piece of history! Of course! For sale today is a fully restored to better than new showroom quality 1960 Volkswagen Beetle. All parts were were either NOS, riginal, r from the best producer of classic vw parts Wolfsburg West. This has been a joy to own and drive but now looking to sell. This beetle drives like a dream and only has 637 miles on it since the full restoration and motor rebuild! The outside is done in a beautiful black with clear coat. It was previously a Nevada car so there was barely any rust or issues with the body before restoration and since has been stored in my garage. Going onto the pan it is also all original and not replaced since as you can see from the pictures it was in perfect condition. It was then undercoating for protection. There was no expense spared on this build. The goal of this build was to have the car as it came off of the assembly line in Germany. So for this year as an upgraded option the black beetles were fitted with the option of a red interior. Wanting to make it a perfect classic I went with beautiful red interior from TMI. The headliner is Sand Tweed to give it that old feel and look. The door panels were done to match the seats and headliner. This car has body and pan matching numbers. With the vin being 2848262 it was built at the end of December 1959 for the 1960 year. Everything has been redone to original quality and or replaced. It has the correct rims and new tires, ll new shocks and improved front torsion bar for improved handling, ew clutch, ew wiring harness from Wolfsburg West with a new 6v battery to keep it all original. Some people may know, ut the last year for the 36hp engine is the 1960 beetle! The transmission is also original as you can see from the pictures. It is the 4 speed split case transmission with reverse. This is the real deal folks. This beetle has been appraised and insured for over $20,000. It has a clear Pennsylvania title in my name.
