Description for Volkswagen Thing 1974

Up for your consideration is a beautiful, riginal VW Thing. It runs great, nd was driven this summer, ainly in prep for this sale. The interior, xterior, nd engine are all original. This was the second Thing that my father purchased, nd this one was always kept indoors. After some years in storage, e did a little work in hopes we would use it more frequently, ust for fun on nice days. That hasn't happened, nd thus we are selling it. Work which was done in 2006, ith less than 500 miles on her since, ncludes the brakes and wheel cylinders, ew tires, ngine tune up, nd we had it professionally cleaned, ncluding touch up paint. The windows barely have any blemishes, r scratches. The hood handle is currently unattached, nd we are using vise grips to open it.The orange thing is also yours if you want it, t has a better headlight and blinker rim, nd an engine that has not run for 15 years.
